Vena Lam, PMP

DIRECTOR

Based in Los Angeles, Vena Lam is a member of Facktor's Operations division. Lam has led client project teams in implementing information technology including electronic health records (EHRs), population management, and data reporting. Lam has also assisted health centers with implementing new service lines and newly integrated delivery models, such as behavioral health and vision services, and has contributed as a writer and project coordinator for Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) and county-based grant applications.

Lam has 15 years of experience in community healthcare settings as a project manager, compliance administrator, and reporting roles. She led major initiatives such as implementing EHRs for five sites, overseeing the building of new clinic sites, and implementing a health center's three-year strategic plan.

Lam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley and is a Certified Project Manager Professional. Lam brings her professional skills to her volunteer work. She has a special interest in providing healthcare and social services to underserved and immigrant communities. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Center for the Pacific Asian Family and the Northeast Animal Shelter.
