Preethi Kembaiyan

DIRECTOR

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Preethi Kembaiyan is a Director in Facktor's Finance Division and oversees Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) planning and designation projects, financial planning and analysis for mergers and acquisitions, as well as fiscal compliance projects. Her work supports large university and public healthcare systems, Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), and community-based healthcare and social service organizations. Kembaiyan has also served as contracted Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director at several FQHCs.

Kembaiyan is passionate about leveraging her expertise in financial strategy and FP&A to inform bold, innovative strategies that support the financial sustainability of safety net programs and initiatives. Prior to her work in healthcare finance, Kembaiyan spent over a decade supporting health centers, social service agencies, and public health institutions, with a focus on institutional fundraising and program development.

Kembaiyan holds a BA in Anthropology and Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis, where she developed a passion for global health and health equity. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Emory University. In her free time, Kembaiyan enjoys hiking, camping, live music, reading fiction, exploring restaurants, and walks with her dog, Boss.
