Based in Bend, Oregon, Michael Thomas is a Consultant in Facktor’s Operations division. Thomas brings 15+ years of experience in healthcare technology and clinical informatics, specializing in EHR implementation and optimization, health information exchange, and data governance for community health organizations. He has led Epic, Epic Community Connect, and Oracle Cerner implementations and transformations for independent clinics and regional health systems, with deep expertise in population health data consolidation, systems interoperability, and HIPAA-compliant data infrastructure. Thomas previously served as Director of Technology and Clinical Informatics at a large FQHC and as Owner of TetraLync Consulting, where he has guided health centers through complex informatics and strategic technology initiatives. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science/Neuroscience and an M.S. in Psychology from the University of New Mexico.
