John Gressman, MSW, MA

SENIOR ADVISOR

Based in Palm Springs, John Gressman is part of Facktor's Strategy & Growth division. Gressman is a community health center/Federally Qualified Health Center leader with over 35 years’ experience in community-based care. As a Senior Advisor, Gressman brings to Facktor an in-depth understanding and knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Center regulations, administration, and operations.

For 27 years, Gressman served as the President/CEO of the San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium (SFCCC), the City’s federally funded 330(h) Health Care for the Homeless Grantee. SFCCC is a 40-year-old nonprofit health center network that provides comprehensive leadership to the City’s 12 health center members in creating new models of care, workforce, revenue maximization, continuous quality improvement, and health policy and advocacy. While at SFCCC, Gressman was a founder and ongoing board member of the California Primary Care Association and the San Francisco Health Plan, the City’s Medicaid/Medi-Cal Health Maintenance Organization. Under his leadership, SFCCC gained recognition for its innovative approaches to developing and expanding new models of comprehensive primary care. In addition, Gressman was responsible for the agency’s Ryan White CARE Part C Grant and served as lead for the Bureau of Workforce Area Health Education Center (AHEC) for San Francisco and Principal Investigator on two SAMSA Grants.

Gressman holds a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Rowan University.
