Jessica McLaughlin

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jessica McLaughlin is an Associate in Facktor's Strategy & Growth division. McLaughlin is a public health professional with expertise in health policy and management, community-engaged research, and health equity, with a focus on safety-net health systems and underserved populations. She brings experience developing patient education programs, conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and translating research findings into actionable policy recommendations.
Prior to joining Facktor, McLaughlin served as a Policy Analyst at the UCLA Community Engagement and Research Program, managing the development and implementation of tailored patient education materials across 28 Los Angeles County safety-net clinics. She previously served as a Staff Research Associate on an NIH/NHLBI-funded grant focused on multi-ethnic high blood pressure health equity in the LA County safety-net health system, contributing to peer-reviewed research and presenting findings at the Society of General Internal Medicine. McLaughlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Society, from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is completing a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management at UC Berkeley, where she is a 2024 Blue Shield of California Fellow.
