Garcia-Lopez brings more than 15 years of experience in health IT leadership, with a career focused on advancing digital transformation across safety-net and community health settings. His expertise spans FQHC and PCMH environments, where he has led enterprise technology modernization efforts, including EHR implementations (Epic/OCHIN), cloud migrations, AI-driven contact centers, and patient engagement platforms. His work emphasizes eliminating paper-based workflows, improving interoperability, and driving high user adoption through intuitive, patient-centered solutions.
In his current role at Facktor Health Consulting and as Head of Technology at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, Garcia-Lopez advises healthcare organizations on digital maturity, technology selection, and enterprise transformation. He leads large-scale initiatives that unify clinical and operational systems, integrate data across business functions, and deploy automation to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
