Brian Nolan, MPH

SENIOR CONSULTANT

Based in Los Angeles, Brian Nolan is in Facktor’s Strategy & Growth division. Nolan has over 25 years of experience in healthcare and public health, with a focus on strategic planning, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and outreach, implementation, and evaluation. Among other major projects, Nolan leads Service Area Competition, New Access Point, and Health Center Program Look-Alike application assignments. He also leads Facktor's Health Center Program Changes in Scope and formal Community Needs Assessments projects.

Nolan has extensive experience facilitating meetings from small gatherings to large groups.

He has worked at public and private nonprofit healthcare organizations, including the Los Angeles County Departments of Health Services and Public Health and, most recently, as the Chief Operating Officer of the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County, the largest regional clinic consortium in California. He has extensive experience working with community agencies and developing collaborative relationships to achieve greater outcomes.

Nolan received a Master of Public Health from Yale University and completed an internship with the World Health Organization in Copenhagen, Denmark. He also successfully completed the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders. Nolan received his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and prior to joining the health field, worked as an aerospace engineer on the Galileo project at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He was also the branch director of the International Language Institute in Puerto Cortés, Honduras.
