Armineh Tavitian, MD
SENIOR ADVISOR
Based in Los Angeles, Dr. Armineh Tavitian is a Senior Advisor in Facktor’s Clinical Optimization division. Dr. Armineh served as Chief Medical Officer at one of the largest FQHC’s in Los Angeles county for fifteen years. She collaborated with executive leadership to implement various strategic initiatives including expansion to new sites, EHR implementation, new program implementation and integration of various clinical services such as dental care, behavioral and vision services.
Dr. Armineh is passionate about improving healthcare access to the underserved and pursuing innovative approaches to implementing evidence based practices in clinical care to improve healthcare outcomes.
Dr. Armineh received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and her Medical Degree from the University of Southern California. She subsequently completed a four year Residency training program in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the LAC-USC Medical Center. She has been Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology since 1997. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.
Prior to her work with community clinics, Dr. Armineh worked in private practice in the Los Angeles area for twelve years. During this time, she held various leadership roles including Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.
Outside of the office, she enjoys the outdoors, gardening, hiking, biking and traveling to as many new destinations as possible. She also volunteers with various nonprofits that serve children in Los Angeles County. She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Armenian and Farsi.
