ASSOCIATE
Based in Golden, Colorado, Amanda Nelsen is an Associate in Facktor’s Strategy & Growth division. Nelsen is involved in the writing team, working on SAC/NAP and Grant Applications as well as Human Resource Assessments. She provides communications support for organizational changes, tracks and assesses relevant health policies, and provides interdisciplinary support on a wide variety of projects. Prior to joining Facktor, Nelsen worked in state policy and advocacy for health centers in Texas and also performed population health research. Nelsen earned her Master of Public Affairs and Master of Public Health from the University of Texas at Austin and her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology & Toxicology with a Global Health Certificate from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time reading, baking, and spending time exploring the outdoors skiing, hiking, and camping.
